Re:Plenish ZeroWaste
Project Overview
During my two years at Re:Plenish, I helped enhance their visual identity, online store, and social media as a graphic designer and associate. As the store grew, I collaborated with the owners and my team to ensure their online presence matched their goals and products since launching in 2019. Re:Plenish, a zero-waste store and refillery in Edmonton, AB, provides refills and eco-friendly alternatives for personal and home-care products. My aim has been to showcase their commitment to sustainability and the community through a welcoming and informative digital experience.

The goal for this ongoing project has been to continually update and refresh Re:Plenish’s online presence. This has involved placing a large focus on the user and how their patrons would navigate their website, social media, and online storefront.
-
The approach taken for Re:Plenish focuses on enhancing the user experience and promoting their sustainable alternatives By restructuring the site with a welcoming and informative tone, we aimed to foster a positive user experience. The incorporation of vibrant visuals, a soothing color scheme, and extensive eco-friendly resources contributes to this objective.
Additionally, the redesign of the main pages encourages exploration and extended visits, ultimately elevating the visibility of Re:Plenish's offerings and mission. A mobile-first strategy ensures that all users, regardless of their device, can easily access and navigate the site. This holistic approach not only improves usability but also strengthens the connection between the brand and its patrons.

Project Reflection
I’d like to thank both co-owners: Meghann Law and Karine St-Onge for their guidance and trust as I’ve worked on their website, social media, and illustrations throughout the past year and a half. Additionally, my work would not have been possible without the help from my fellow associates Shannon Brown and Xi Chen, both students studying at the University of Alberta.
